IT’S 3:30! I love holiday theater. This year, we enjoyed the Burlesque Nutcracker. What Seattle is really missing, though, is this Ice Capades version of Aliens.

IT’S 3:30! Haven’t you always thought the Kinsey Scale needed updating? Now, thanks to this article in the New Yorker, you can pick a number between 1 and 24!

IT’S 3:30! Starting the year off on the right note (HA!), ignore the singing and just stare into this little girl’s eyes. (Slightly NSFW, so turn the volume down a tad)
It’s 3:30! If you’re looking for the “next big thing” in cute animal overload (which is a great blog already, btw), consider sloths of Slothville. In sloth jammies. And doing things I’ve only seen cute pandas do before. (Thanks to Jenn Johnson for the post)
IT’S 3:30! Fun with Public Safety, NYC-style. NPR did a story on these kaiku signs designed to promote pedestrian safety. How cool! (This would never go over in Seattle, where pedestrians can do no wrong.)

IT’S 3:30! Do not adjust your screen. I ran across a fun series of photos - called SHAKE (duh!) - from Carli Davidson, who takes lots of really amazing animal photos. (Thanks to my friend Daniel Starr for the recommendation.)

IT’S 3:30! A year of sky in 4 minutes. Beautimous! At first, I thought, “Eww. So many clouds.” Then as time progressed, the San Francisco fog lifted and there are so many blue days!
IT’S 3:30! I ♥ Animoto. I wanted to do a little “thank you” video for my clients. Took me 15 minutes to put it together. Then, because I’m a perfectionist, I spent another 2-3 hours tweaking and reprocessing the video. Of course, the one I’m using (above) is the second or third version.
IT’S 3:30! Science Time! More “Whoa!” inspiring underwater footage. Killer brinicles form under the Antarctic ice shelf sucking up starfish and crabs. Cool!
IT’S 3:30! “Guess why I smile alot. ‘Cause it’s worth it.” Marcel the Shell is back! So cute, he’s apparently got a book deal, too. (And I would [heart] someone forever if they would add Marcel to the Pepper Spraying Cop tumblr)
